فاستقم كما امرت

This Āyah instructs Rasūlullah ﷺ and all believers to remain steadfast in every condition, upon every task. 'Istiqāmah' is a short word, but vast in meaning since it means we must continue to walk straight within the stipulated boundaries of Allāh Ta'ala in every aspect of creed, dealings, behaviour, life, earnings and expenditure. In any task of any aspect of these, deviation, deficiency, or excess under any circumstance violates istaqamah or steadfastness.
